Cliff is a graduate of Central Washington University and has served as a fulltime staff person in churches of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America for thirty years. He is currently serving at Trinity Lutheran Church of Lynnwood Washington as Minister of Parish Life. He has also served on local, regional and national committees for the development of service learning opportunities for the ELCA. He is currently a member of the personnel committee for the Northwest Washington Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
Cliff first brought a group to Tijuana to work with Esperanza in 1988. He now brings two groups each year: an adult group and an intergenerational group.
In 2002, Cliff was elected to the Board of Directors of Esperanza International. He has served as Chief Financial Officer and currently serves as liaison to Los Ninos and as a director with special focus on volunteer groups.
Cliff is also co-creator of the “Noche De Esperanza” annual fundraising dinner in Kirkland Washington with Jan Kline, which raises about $14,000 per year in support of the work of Esperanza.He is also a contributor to Esperanza through Trinity Lutheran Church.
Cliff is highly committed to the work and philosophy of Esperanza.
