Dear Friends from Esperanza,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and express my gratitude towards all of the foundation staff for providing my students and myself with an unforgettable experience in our nine day trip to Tijuana Mexico. Your service towards the underserved communities of Tijuana and your genuine enthusiasm to share all the wonderful aspects of Mexico's culture was an invaluable part of our experience. My students and I felt welcomed, safe and part of the family. Each and every one of my students gave your staff, your program and the entire trip very high ratings. This is no surprise given how much work you have put into planning each and every part of our nine day experience. I was personally very moved and touched with how receptive and welcoming the community members were towards our group and their eagerness to invite us into their homes and share with us their positive experience working with Esperanza. Esperanza should be regarded as a model program for other organizations throughout the world. The nine day trip was an eye-opening and essential experience that has enriched and motivated my students to become more involved in Health & Human Services work. For all of this, you have my complete support and endorsement and I'm confident that my students will never forget this great experience.
I look forward to a continued relationship with Esperanza and am eager to organize another (and larger) group of students very soon so that they may take part in this invaluable experience and gain a deeper appreciation of Mexico's rich and beautiful culture. Thank you again for making us feel welcomed and for keeping us all safe.
