Hola Josefina-
So good to hear from you! I was just in the process of reading the journals of the students that participated in the Esperanza program. All of the students were so very touched by all of the experiences Esperanza provided for them. Many referred to this as a "life changing experience", others talked about this changing the way they personally view their world, and still other students talked about changing their academic goals to incorporate a global perspective of the world. Our SDSU team was also so very impressed with the program you created for our students and at this time we definitely plan to schedule the class for Spring 2010.
Both the SDSU students and staff were concerned about how Esperanza was handling the cancellations for summer. We are hopeful that your still have a full summer schedule of students and are able to keep your wonderful staff on board.
